Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Managing Director to lead and oversee our operations, business development, and international supplier partnerships. The position plays a vital role between our Vietnam-based company and overseas manufacturers and partners, ensuring business growth, regulatory compliance, and supply chain efficiency.
Due to the nature of this role—requiring advanced international business skills, global nutrition market knowledge, and extensive experience working with multinational suppliers—the position must be held by a foreign professional with proven qualifications in this field.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage overall business operations of Vietnam Nutrition Depot.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with overseas suppliers and manufacturers.
- Lead market expansion plans and implement effective sales and distribution strategies.
- Supervise product sourcing, importation, and compliance with Vietnam’s food regulations.
- Represent the company in international meetings, exhibitions, and trade negotiations.
- Direct financial planning, budgeting, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Manage and mentor senior managers and key functional teams.
- Ensure the company’s adherence to both local and international quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, International Trade, Nutrition, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of management experience in the nutrition, FMCG, or health supplement industry.
- Proven expertise in international trade, supplier management, and import/export operations.
- Strong understanding of ASEAN and global food supplement regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (other languages a plus).
- Frequent overseas travel is required for business and supplier engagement.
